The founder
Mari noticed the yard.
Mari is a woman in a fancy one-shoulder cavewoman dress — MAGA skirt, stone beads, the whole prehistoric superstore look — who observed, one Tuesday, that her yard was still full of rocks. She picked one up. It fit her hand. She thought: this is a product. She does not mine. She does not quarry. She stoops. She has a very good stoop.
The shop is named Mari Rocks because Mari rocks, and they are rocks, and this whole yard is run in humor — dedicated to our MAGA friend in arms @mari_musings. Please give her a like and a hello please. She finds. She forms — with a hose. She sells. Geology, which was here first, takes no commission. Checkout is rock hard XMoney only.
The forming
A hose, a towel, a line of rocks.
People ask if she makes them. She does, in the sense that she decides which ones leave the grass. The assembly line is a stone table. The QA process is: pick it up, put it down, pick it up again. If it is still a rock, it ships.
Signature pieces are the ones she held a little longer. There is no certificate. There is eye contact with a mineral.

Asked of Mari
- Are these weapons?
- They are rocks. We are very clear about this. A rock has always been a rock. Mari did not invent density.
- What does 'formed' mean?
- A hose. Sometimes a towel. On ambitious days, Mari knocks two together. That is the making. Weather did the rest over a period we are not prepared to invoice.
- Can I return a rock?
- Yes. Mari will put it back in the yard. This is both a restocking process and a landscape restoration.
- Is this a joke?
- Mari is very serious. The rocks are very ordinary. Those two facts can sit next to each other on a limestone slab.
- Do you ship internationally?
- Mari has a tote and a post office. Beyond that she considers the ocean a geology problem she did not cause.
- What do you take for payment?
- We only accept rock hard XMoney for payments. Soft XMoney, pebbles, and promises will be returned to the yard.
